RECAP on my client from this past week with a 3 ye RECAP on my client from this past week with a 3 year old who was waking several times a night and struggling to go back to sleep in her own room. 

👉 Cut out all attention and talking when she was waking at night 

👉 Stop allowing sleeping later and catch up naps for the lost night sleep
 
👉 Stop talking to her during the day about the night waking. Focus attention on other more positive subjects 

👉 Put her to bed 30 minutes later for 5 consecutive days to give her less energy for wake ups 

👉 Build 10 mins of labelled positive 1:1 time with either parent daily: to help fill her attention cup

👉 No screens or stimulation in the 60 minutes before bed

👉 Absolutely no milk when she wakes during the night

👉 Sleeping in parents room is OFF LIMITS

Summer is over and these weeks are an adjustment. Summer is over and these weeks are an adjustment. I know I’m overwhelmed with new routines, school events almost every night and everything else I try to fit it. 

I’ve helped so many amazing families over the summer with baby & kids’ sleep and I’m back to work fully now taking on several new families this week. Can’t wait to work with you!
